The English Rose holds precious memories for me of special visits with my daughter and grandchild. The authentic English ladies and dishes allowed a visit to England at high tea with sweet charm. We were visiting the state this weekend, my husband and I came by for lunch and were shocked that you were closed, that we had missed you by two weeks. So very sorry. You will be missed! Another location???

Drove by the shop the other day and noticed it was empty. I was so sad. I had wanted to take my little girls there for lunch and tea but sadly you are closed now. :!brokenheart:

So incredibly sad to see the close of the English Rose. This Tea Room has been such a unique part of our community for so many years. What an asset to lose! Your charm will be missed...

The soul of Chattanooga graciousness is dying. First 212, now English Rose. So sorry to see you go.

I LOVE The English Rose. My niece (who lives in Cleveland, TN) introduced me to this wonderful place. I make sure the English Rose is my first stop. I enjoy the gift shop too.

See ya in July - I'm coming back.

I took my 8 year old granddaughter Leighanna Kay to lunch at your tea house and we had a traditional "tea". Was her first time and she loved it!
We both had a wonderful time!
And we plan many more visits in the future!

My family and I spent a few days in Chattanooga this summer. It was wonderful. We took in the sites (river cruise and aquarium). But the most relaxing and peaceful was the tea room. Delious teas and good food. We will be visiting again. :)

The English Rose is very quaint and lovely. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is wonderful. My husband and I love to drop in for lunch or just to have tea and a scone.

Each year, I bring my work Team here to celebrate Christmas. We have a leisurely lunch, a few pots of tea and exchange gifts. The English Christmas Crackers top off the event. Tis will be our 4th year, it has become a tradition. We love our time spent at the English rose.

I can't take tea at the English Rose as often as I would like :!cry: However when I am in the area I certainly try my best! I love the atmosphere, the food and of course ...the Tea! I buy several items out of the store each time I am there. A gift for my MOM, a gift for a friend and stationery for me is the normal. The thoughts of The English Rose are very soothing to me. It is always my pleasure to be able to go to the English Rose. ;)
